Welcome to Loughborough Primary School, where our ambition is for every child to succeed and thrive in a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment.

We are proud to serve an amazing and diverse community, where the richness of different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences strengthens our school and enriches the learning journey of every child.

At the heart of our school is a team of dedicated and passionate staff who nurture and support every child ensuring they feel valued and are given the opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

We have high expectations of behaviour and learning and believe that every child has the right to learn, and every teacher has the right to teach.

Through an exciting, inclusive curriculum and a wide range of curriculum enrichment opportunities, we aim to cultivate not only academic excellence but also social excellence, equipping the children of Loughborough Primary with the life skills they need to become respectful, determined and resilient citizens who care about the world and people around them.

We warmly invite you to arrange a visit to learn more about the ambitious learning opportunities at Loughborough Primary School.

Meet the head...

What motivates me in my role as a headteacher is the belief that every child who comes through our doors should have the opportunity to succeed.

I am deeply committed to ensuring that all children are given the chance to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point. My ambition is for every child to believe in themselves and to know that they can go on to be somebody great.

It brings me so much joy to see past students thrive, hearing about their journeys and successes as they continue to grow and achieve. These moments remind me why I do what I do.

I absolutely love coming into work each day, especially knowing that I’ll get to see the wonderful children of Loughborough. The smiles and kind words I receive from them as they stop and speak to me in the corridors make every day special. It truly feels like a family here, and it’s a privilege to be part of their journey and watching them grow as individuals.

I joined Loughborough Primary in September 2024, stepping into my first Headship role after serving as a Deputy Headteacher in Lambeth for over fourteen years.  I’ve had the privilege of working in schools in Lambeth for more than 20 years, and throughout my career, I've developed a deep passion for education and the communities I serve. It is truly a privilege to lead such a wonderful school community here at Loughborough, and I am excited to continue working with the students, staff, and families to make a positive impact.
