Our Year 6 pupils visited City University for an inspiring day of engineering, discovery, and future aspirations.

This is an exciting and important time for our Year 6 pupils as they prepare to transition to secondary school. As part of their transition curriculum, they were fortunate to visit City University for a day packed with inspiration and discovery.
The children took part in a hands-on engineering workshop that encouraged creativity and problem-solving, before enjoying a guided tour of the campus — a first glimpse into university life. The highlight of the day was a lively Q&A session with current university students, who shared their experiences and motivated our pupils to think about their own futures.
When asked about the visit, the overwhelming response was clear: “I’m definitely going to university.”
