A guided tour of The Department Store in Brixton, learning about its renovation and local architectural history.
On Wednesday year 6 went on a local trip to The Department Store building in Brixton for a session with the architectural company that have led the renovations of what was one of the first department stores in London.
The children were treated to a guided tour of the building, learning about the design and construction processes. It was a great opportunity for us all to learn more about Brixton's rich architectural history.
